Getting back in sync

After dealing with a few reformats and restores on all but one of my computers it is time to get things back in order.
I need my contacts and calendar to sync with my phone (HTC touch pro (for now)) and my macbook, and my google account... sounds like a task and a half. If you have a solution, let me know.
Also as a side note, if you are running a computer and you like to back things up online, may I offer up microsoft live mesh as an option. I use it and have had it for 7 months now, its smooth and easy to use... and free.
