28. If you could change a feature on one of your pieces, what would it be? I would get all the original tracks from back in the day, add some reverb, and tape saturation to the drums, and distort the "clean" sounds in the melodies

32. What's your favorite beat of all time? I got this jazz song in my head, I dont want to make it until I can play all the instruments myself. Its still untitled.
33. Name 3 beats you wish you made? Q Tips whole next album, A Little Brother Joint, and a full Slum Village album. I cant wish that I made an old track, it would take away from it.

36. Ever lost a bunch of your beats? how did you react? still do, I started sending them away, but I wasnt sending all the files just the mp3s so I couldnt go back and change most of anything. I now save everything, too much!
37. Ever been beat-jacked? Yep, happens all the time, I try to care but you just have to be on tope of it, add sirens and scratches and your voice to shit so cats know its you! Just make sure you can take that stuff off if someone wants to use it.
38. Who are your favorite producers to collaborate with? I like to collab with musicians...
39. Do you ever skip meals while you're producing? I make myself eat before I get into the studio, cause I will forget.
40. What do you do once you finish a beat? save all the files, upload, email, close it up and start another. I try not to listen to a beat for days after its done.

44. Who did you learn the most from personally? in person... no one.
45. You made a beat that you don't like... save it or delete it? save itMy uncle is a producer and when I first started, I didnt know anything about keys and scales and chords, he gave me grief and still does.
47. Average time it takes you to make a beat? when shit goes right, it could be done in minutes, but I always come back and adjust shit.
48. What do you normally start with? If I am using samples for melodies, I start with the sample. Sometimes its a drum or a loop of percussion, sometimes its a lyric or hook. Sometimes I do the drums and then make the lyrics, then make the rest of the beat.
49. Estimate of beats you have in your arsenal? I've lost more than I have now. I could say I have about 50 that I have done. About 30 that I have access to alter.
