The goal, 1 album within 40 days.
I find that inspiration is never something that I am short on. In the recent weeks I have been part of many things that have inspired me. Additionally there have been changes that have led me to look for new avenues to express the art.
Being part of a band led me to really want to work harder, not only on recording and putting tracks together with a group, but with also thinking about performance when developing tracks. Here is something from the group I think to be the best damn band ever.
On another side we have the "Just Do It" attitude brought to me from artist who have come to me with the drive and the push, all they have needed is a way; the studio has served as that way. Another couple artists that make me think of this attitude are below.
So as I enter the lab this month with the goal to finish an album in 40 days, I have so much influence. Possibly too much. I don't think the issue will be coming up with content, I think the challenge will be focusing all of this energy, excitement, and passion into an ordered selection that makes sense.
