The Daily Priapism

With less than 20 days left on my 40 days to an album project, I thought it was more than time to release an instrumental, or a piece of an instrumental.

The track came out of about 10 minutes of screwing around with the MPC, I like the way it turned out, but man is the MPC a bear to deal with when tracking to ProTools. I now know why it is important to get a setup that allows for multiple (4+) inputs at once. I may end up with a new mixer and cubase or logic for tracking from the MPC 1000 to the system, the mbox2 is just way too slow with its 2 inputs. I may have to look into getting another input using the S/PDIF.

So with this track now sent into protools in some capacity, I will be adding a bassline, working on some mastering, and adding some turntablism work. Think Premier.
